Editorial Policy & Calculator Methodology
Learn how we choose topics, present sources, disclose financial risks and explain calculations at TechFinanceHubs.
Our purpose and editorial standards
Our goal is to make everyday money questions and digital-finance tools easier to understand. Articles should solve a specific reader problem. We prioritize plain language, relevant examples, clear limitations and credible references over sensational headlines, filler content or unrealistic promises.
How we prepare guides
We choose topics by practical usefulness and common questions. Guides are researched using public educational information, relevant regulatory resources and product documentation where applicable. We seek to distinguish general concepts from rules that depend on a jurisdiction, institution or date. We avoid presenting invented statistics or hypothetical examples as live financial data.
Who writes this content?
Articles are published under the collective name TechFinanceHubs Editorial. This label identifies the site’s editorial responsibility, not a claim that a named licensed professional reviewed the material. We do not publish fabricated personal credentials or imply expert endorsements.
Calculator assumptions
Loan payments are modeled as fixed monthly installments using a nominal annual interest rate divided by twelve. Interest and extra principal are applied each month. Compound interest and savings-goal estimates use a constant nominal annual rate with monthly compounding and end-of-month contributions. Credit card payoff estimates assume fixed monthly payments and no new charges. Subscription totals assume stable prices.
Every calculation is a simplified illustration. It may exclude taxes, fees, market volatility, inflation, changing rates, insurer or lender rules and country-specific laws. Browser-based currency selection changes the symbol only and does not perform foreign exchange conversion.
Sources, corrections and updates
Where useful, articles include links to public guidance from institutions such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Investor.gov, the Federal Trade Commission and CISA. External references are provided for context, not as sponsorship or endorsement. The publication date is displayed on articles; we revise dates only when substantive revisions are made.
If you find a factual, mathematical, broken-link or accessibility problem, please contact us with the relevant page URL and a description. We evaluate corrections and update content when warranted.
Independence and monetization
We do not presently feature paid product rankings or sponsored recommendations in this starter website. If advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links are introduced, relevant disclosures must be added and any commercial relationship should not determine factual accuracy. We never promise first-place search ranking or ad-network approval.
